The warmth of ancient Persian tradition meets the magic of live performance.

Korsi invites you into a whimsical world inspired by Persian folklore—filled with wonder, poetry, humor, and heart. Afsaneh Aayani has brought together a cohort of creators with a deep connection to Persian culture and its rich tradition of storytelling to develop a new work based on an old tale. This imaginative theatrical experience blends puppetry, visual art, music, and performance to create something both timeless and entirely new.

Join us around the Korsi and let us tell you a story.

This production is funded in part by the city of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
