The Transitory Sound and Movement Collective is coming together in collaboration with the incredible ARCOS out of Austin and will be presenting a new work: "A Polyphonic Hylomorphic Tectonic Happening aka It's a Rock Show Baby!" at the Rec Room on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017.
Lynn Lane (sound/intermedia artist/aristic director of TSMC) is bringing together an amazing ensemble of artists to develop a truly magical evening of sound/movement/visuals on the stage and in the world of the Rec Room. Movement and interactive media will be created by ARCOS: Erica Gionfriddo (director, dance artist), Curtis Uhlemann (director, movement), Eliot Gray Fisher (director, media artist), Katie Hopkins (dance artist). The sonic world will be created by Lynn Lane (synthesizers/electronics/found recordings), Ingrid Gerling (5 string electric violion) of the Axiom Quartet, Fanny Spangaro (cello) of Loop38 Orchestra and Brandon Guerra (percussions/electronics) coming in from San Antonio. This will be a show like no other we have done. The TSMC creates an improvisational experiential world through the blending sound, movement and visual arts in a very dynamic way.
