Residency Festival Presents: Joe Wozny


As part of the 2018 Residency Festival, Rec Room Arts presents Joe Wozny.

There will be two separate nights of programming on Feb 2 & 3

Feb 2
‘ Songs & Not Songs ‘ 
A night of creative programming in which Joe will play guitar while opening his mouth to sing and sometimes just say stuff. Sit down early at 7:30 for 30 minutes of unique pre-show “the door is open iphone recorded engaging meaningful content.”

Feb 3
‘ Solo & Not Solo Guitar ‘ 
Joe will play a short solo guitar set, followed by an improvised string ensemble set featuring: Ryan Edwards, Thomas Helton, Ronnie Yates, and TBA.

Festival passes are available so you can see all six residents through mid-march!

All shows start at 8pm (Sharp, 8 meaning 8, and not 8:30 or 9, but 8) 
Doors open at 7:30. 
There is no late seating.

Joe Wozny plays guitar in multiple genres and idioms, sings songs, composes music for people, says words in front of people, does alt-theater, and writes for various publications. He is the co-curator and co-producer of Lean, Bleak, an ongoing experimental music concert series organized by Spencer Dobbs and Joe Wozny conceived as a space for artists to present work across various practices. He lives in Houston.
